  While vacationing in Defuniak Springs, FL, I needed a refill of a compounded medication I have been using for years. This store more than DOUBLED the price of my medication, from the normal $28 to $59!! I stated this on the phone and was told that the pharmacist can set any price he chooses!! If there were another pharmacy available, I would have tried them, as this $31 increase seemed excessive. They offer no apologies, the pharmacist even smirked when I came in to pay. Since Florida is full of retirees on fixed incomes, I wonder how often this guy "chooses" to charge more than he should, with no limits on what he can charge. This is not good business practice. The prices can change according to this guy's mood, and anyone with half a brain should choose another pharmacy that's not in the business of ripping people off.
